Please wear suitable footware and warm working clothes and waterproofs… it can be muddy and cold here! A torch is very useful too.
We prefer you not to bring dogs. If you have to, then please phone in advance to check that this is okay. If you do bring a dog, you must stay in control of it at all times. We have sheep farming neighbours, ground nesting birds in spring and our own chickens to look after. Keep your dog on a lead and clear up after your dog where necessary.
If you bring children, remember we have no qualified childminder. You are responsible for their safety. Some areas (such as the wetlands or workshop) can be dangerous to children, so please keep a track of where they are and what they are up to.
If you have an illness or disability please let us know (preferably in advance) so that we can try and cater for your needs.
